T-Mobile Dash VS Toshiba TG01

The new T-Mobile Dash & Toshiba TG01 are windows powered device which come with smartphone features from two different mobile phone makers. While T-Mobile is a leading brand and Toshiba is new in this fray. The main differences among these two gadgets are their looks and presentations. T-Mobile Dash has its own full QWERTY keypad. On the other hand Toshiba TG01 is a superb touch screen phone. The touch sensitive TFT screen of the TG01 is one of the best in the industry to measure 4.1 inches supporting 256K colors at 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Touch-sensitive navigation controls, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, 3D user interface and shake control are few of the special characteristics you can easily enjoy on this mind blowing display. The phone weighs 129 grams.

On the contrary, the 2.4 inches TFT display of T -Mobile Dash is not that much impressive but never the less it uniquely boasts HTC JOGGR touch sensitive navigation bar characteristic. With 65K colors the display supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution. The Toshiba TG01 is basically a multimedia oriented phone while T-Mobile Dash will attract business users. The presented 3.2 mega pixel camera has got auto focus ability to give a high quality image outputs while it can also capture videos in VGA resolution. The camera can also be used to enjoy video calling. Video file formats on the TG01 include H.263, H.264, MPEG4 and WMV. Adversely, the Dash is not as good in camera feature as it sports only a 1.3MP camera. For media playback TGO1 has got an MP3 and MP4 player while the other one supports MP3 and WAV file formats. The Toshiba TG01 has got Facebook & YouTube compatibility which is missing in its competitor.

To render business capabilities Toshiba TG01 sports the Pocket Office attribute and the Dash comes with a document viewer. Browsing technologies are similar in both the gadgets and they sport WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML (PocketIE) technologies for the purpose. SMS, MMS, Email messaging services are common on both the devices while T-Mobile Dash bags instant messaging service as well and the Toshiba TG01 sports the special EMS service.
