Samsung S5200 Pink – A Decent Sliding Phone


The Samsung S5200 is a compact new sliding phone that looks really good. The gadget is now available in pink apparel and will cater to the ladies section of the mass. The Samsung S5200 Pink actually measures 104 x 49 x 10.9 mm and it weighs 97 grams. This phone is slim, lightweight and feature rich in a nutshell. The 2.1 inches TFT display is colorful and is an excellent focal point for the phone. It displays up to 16 million colors at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

The Samsung S5200 Pink has a 3.15 mega pixel camera integrated into the unit and offers excellent quality image taking capabilities. The camera operates at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. To aid illumination of the subject being photographed, this new Samsung phone comes with an LED flash. For the situation which requires moving image capture, the S5200 offers video recording and playback of QVGA quality. The MP3 player and FM radio provide the means to listen to either downloaded media files especially of MP3, AAC & WMA types or simply listen to radio broadcasts whilst ambling along. MPEG4 & H264 video files are acceptable on the video player.

Samsung S5200 Pink comes with a raft of connectivity options which include GPRS, HSCSD, Bluetooth, USB and EDGE. This means sharing files or data and connecting the phone with a variety of devices is a simple task. A WAP2.0 web browser allows the users to gain access to the web & surf for all their desired information as you can access HTML and X-HTML web pages to achieve a portable Internet experience.

There is a document viewer given on the phone that allows taking a look on your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF documents through the phone itself. For data storage the phone provides an internal memory of 50MB and has the ability to expand the space up to 8 GB by using the MicroSD card slot. 5 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time have been assured by the battery backup.
